Position: Windows Presentation Foundation Developer in C# / .NET environment

We are currently looking for a developer to support the successful transfer of Xerox research technology to the Xerox Global Services platforms. Under the responsibility of a lead developer, the candidate will be in charge of a number of technology development tasks including:

  • Planning and estimating activities, tracking development and quality delivery against a tight schedule
  • Participating in the team’s Extreme Programming activities – backlog
  • Managing backlogs, bug fixes, testing, and other
  • Updating the relevant project information in Team Foundation Server
  • Providing documentation, help and bug support as appropriate
  • Contributing to the team’s development efforts through high-quality code, architectures and designs
  • Using and refining good development practices, including Test-Driven design, Lean Software Development, or others

The candidate will exhibit strong technical capabilities, capable of taking good design, architecture and implementation decisions and leading the team very efficiently. He will however remain flexible and agile in his planning, and will be able to interact with customers and partners in fluent technical English.

Experience/diploma required:

  • Degree in Computer Science
  • Strong development experience in C# / .NET framework 3.5
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation
  • Strong background in software development methodologies (design, requirements and documentation), design patterns, XP, Test-driven design, etc…
  • At least 6 months experience Visual Studio, MS SQL server, and Microsoft development environments
  • Good knowledge of English is a strong plus
  • Some hands-on experience of Silverlight and Blend Expressions would be a strong plus
