Documentum provides enterprise content management solutions as part of EMC Corporation's information lifecycle management (ILM) strategy.
Documentum acquired the askOnce business unit of Xerox Corporation. The askOnce technology enables the enterprise content integration component of Documentum’s Virtual Repository solution.

Inxight LinguistX Platform intelligently analyzes text by providing language and character encoding identification, word segmentation, stemming, de-compounding, part-of-speech tagging, and noun phrase extraction. Supports 23 languages. Inxight Software, Inc. was established in 1996 by Xerox Corporation as part of the Xerox New Enterprise business initiative.

TEMIS ("Text Mining Solutions") acquired Xerox Corporation's linguistic products operations, which develops and markets the XeLDA® and XTS software products. This activity was previously part of Xerox MKMS Business Unit. Both products are based on innovative technologies from the Xerox Research Centre Europe in France.

Xerox Terminology Suite (XTS) for controlled authoring, translation aid and the building of terminology databases, multilingual and monolingual dictionaries.
XeLDA the linguistic engine that enables application developers and integrators to embed advanced language processing features in application. Supports up to 40 languages.

Xerox has partnered with Objet Direct to commercialise its collaborative software development tool CodeX.
