Maud Ehrmann Xerox Research Centre Europe
Maud Ehrmann joined the Parsing & Semantics group at XRCE in May 2004 for an internship on the evaluation of a Named Entity extraction module. She pursued in this group (from 2004 to 2007) as a PhD student in computational linguistics. She worked on named entity definition and named entity disambiguation, under the supervision of Caroline Brun and Bernard Victorri from the LaTTiCe laboratory (this work was supported by a Cifre grant). She defended her Phd in June 2008. She is now working as a post-doctoral researcher; she works on named entities (normalisation and disambiguation) and on the annotation of temporal expressions in texts, in the framework of ParSem research projects and Infom@gic.
